Dr Shaun Brookhouse

Shaun Brookhouse is an award winning hypnotherapist and trainer
(in both in the UK and US). He earned a Graduateship Diploma (First Degree Equivalent) in Counselling
and Hypnotherapy, a Masters Degree in Education Studies (Researching the development of training in Hypnotherapy 1971-1998),
a Doctorate in Clinical Hypnotherapy, a CertEd (Teaching Credential) in which the assessment was based in part on
the course he designed in clinical hypnosis, an Associate Diploma from the College of Teachers, for his thesis
on the importance of teaching counselling skills to hypnotherapists, and Licenciateship in Training and Development
.It should be noted that Shaun Brookhouse 's Doctoral Qualification is academic and professional, it is NOT a medical qualification.

Shaun is a Certified Master Instructor with the National Guild of Hypnotists, the oldest and largest hypnotherapy society in the world. Shaun is also the past Chairman of the National Council for Hypnotherapy , one of the UK’s premier hypnotherapy societies. Additionally, he is an NLP Master Trainer and holder of the European Certificate in Psychotherapy and European Certificate in Clinical Hypnosis
Shaun was one of the first hypnotherapists in the UK to earn US Board Certification, as well as being
one of the first two hypnotherapists to earn the externally accredited Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma.
He is Principal of the UK Academy of Therapeutic Arts and Sciences and lectures on the subjects of Hypnosis
and Neuro Linguistics internationally.
He has received several Fellowships and awards for his contributions to the hypnotherapy profession world
wide. In addition to Shaun's considerable academic and professional credentials, he has also received the following awards

Fiona Biddle

Fiona Biddle has been in professional practice since 1993 and has undertaken many courses to continually improve her
skills. She has also co-developed a new model of therapy: the Motivational Model of Hypnotism. A book on
this co-authored with Shaun Brookhouse was published in June 2005.
In addition to her private practice, which is based in Leicestershire and London, she is
also Chair of the National Council for Hypnotherapy and Vice Principal of the UK Academy of Therapeutic Arts and Sciences . She has co-written a number of therapeutic course manuals and "Building a Successful and Ethical Therapy
Practice", as well as "Motivational Hypnotism" and "Hypnotic Coaching". She is the receipient
of the 2004 NGH President's Award, the 2005 NCH Chairman's Award and the
2007 NGH International Visionary Award.
